Apollos University held its first graduation in the Summer of 2007. With those initial graduates, the Apollos University Alumni Association was born. The association functioned as an informal group throughout most of its initial years, providing a network for alumni to connect, share, and reminisce. Dinners and get-togethers were organized and many alumni came and participated in subsequent graduations. In the Fall of 2012 the Apollos University Alumni Association Facebook page was created and has since served as the vehicle for helping alumni and other stakeholders connect and stay abreast of the happenings of their fellow alumni and their alma mater. Many alumni were featured in the university newsletter, The Apollos Advocate, and several alumni were awarded the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) Famous Alumni honors since Apollos earned accreditation with the DEAC in 2012.
Apollos University was granted a charter to establish the Alpha Delta of California Chapter of Delta Epsilon Tau on December 10, 2012, to recognize the achievements of our Alumni who worked diligently to acquire their new found academic credentials through fully accredited distance learning. After moving to Great Falls, Montana, Apollos University was granted a charter to establish the new Alpha Delta of Montana Chapter of Delta Epsilon Tau on October 31, 2018.
As of 2018, efforts are being made to raise the organization from an informal status to a Non-profit organization that can benefit not only the current and future alumni, but also current and future Apollos students and the university as a whole as well as educational causes around the globe. As these efforts come to fruition, a new era is dawning that will provide additional opportunities and support for Apollos Alumni, current students, and educational stakeholders.
